Fiiiiiiinally. A lip-liner that WILL. NOT. MOVE.

I say I’m obsessed with a lot of products…and I am. But this new Velvet lip-liner from NARS?!? I can’t. It’s too good.

Allow me to introduce you to my favorite new lip product:

It’s LONG-WEAR. Hello!! These babies go on, and they STAY on. Most liners help your lipstick from feathering or bleeding. Keyword: help. But the way this Velvet lip liner is made, it literally won’t bleed or feather, ever. So that fancy new fall-shade that you’ve picked up won’t end up moving around your entire mouth area. Think: lip-stain pencil. Without a cleanser to take it off, it’ll stay there as long as you want it to!
Pigment: There’s a ton of it. The colors are the richest that I’ve ever seen in a lip-liner pencil.
Creamy: sometimes long-wears can be drying…but these are super creamy, super soft and won’t dry out your lips.

When I tried it for the first time, I did my standard test of any long-wear product. I apply some to back of my hand, rub it in a little, and go on with the rest of my day. By the end of the night, I’ll go back and check it out with a light to see how “long-wear” it actually is. These passed with FLYING colors. And even as a compulsive hand-washer, they STILL stayed put. AND with all of the pigment to boot. No bleeding, no feathering, and really, no fading.
